CRAFTING A MORE HUMAN FUTURE ONE STITCH AT A TIME
I became a refugee 26 years ago at the age of 16. Being a refugee was the experiences that became the shaping force in my life. For better or for the worse.
26 year later I was given an enormous privilege and immense opportunity to collaborate with SEP Jordan and bring you the HOPE Collection of hand embroidered hats and berets. The embroidery work provides income stream to artists who happen to be refugees.
My Collaboration projects aim is to bring craftswoman from across the globe closer together through design and realisation of new products! Collaborations projects aim is to preserve traditional crafts, will be realised by craftswoman, materials will be sourced in sustainable matter and products will be made in ethical and sustainable way!
