CRAFTING A MORE HUMAN FUTURE ONE STITCH AT A TIME
I became a refugee 26 years ago at the age of 16. Being a refugee was the experience that became the shaping force in my life. For better or for worse.
26 year later I was given an enormous privilege and immense opportunity to collaborate with SEP Jordan and bring you the HOPE Collection of hand embroidered hats and berets. The embroidery work provides an income stream to artists who happen to be refugees.
My Collaboration project's aim is to bring craftswoman from across the globe closer together through design and realisation of new products! Collaborations project's aim is to preserve traditional crafts, will be realised by craftswoman. The materials will be sourced in a sustainable manner and products will be made in an ethical and sustainable way!
I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT
